Tree of Life Bookstores, who runs the Indiana Wesleyan University campus bookstore, is donating all proceeds from their clothing and gifts sales during the 2012 Homecoming weekend to the University. This is the second year in a row for the donation.
"We're grateful for this generous gift, and as always, proud to have Tree of Life as our partner," said Dr. Keith Newman, Executive Vice President of IWU. "We hope this gives visitors an added incentive to shop at our fine bookstore during Homecoming weekend."
IWU's 2012 Homecoming weekend is October 5-6. Last year's sales resulted in a generous gift from Tree of Life used for student scholarships.
Tree of Life Bookstores is a Marion-based corporation who defines itself as "a family-owned and faith-based company." They have 15 locations in eight states. The owners of Tree of Life, including CEO Darren Campbell, are IWU graduates. They have been IWU's bookstore partner since 1999.
