The Indiana Wesleyan University-National and Global marketing team was honored with Platinum and Gold awards for their creative entries in the 2020 Hermes Creative Awards.
Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. The Awards recognize outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals.
The IWU team’s winning entry, a marketing campaign called “Shine Brighter,” was honored with the Platinum Award, and their Friend-to-Friend referral campaign received the Gold Award at the second highest level.
“To be recognized by receiving these awards is a true testament to the quality of creative our marketing team produces,” Erica Elliot, vice president of marketing, said.
The Shine Brighter campaign consisted of TV commercials, documonials, billboards, a T-shirt, flyers, print and digital ads, and more. According to Heather Boswell, executive director of communication and design, the campaign was developed with the desire to tell student stories that express the ways in which they are shining brighter in their professional and personal lives.
“IWU-National and Global shines brighter because of the lives that are changed and the successes of our students. We hope that by sharing their stories it will encourage others to take that step toward changing their own lives—a step toward more confidence and greater success,” Boswell said.
