Indiana Wesleyan University is excited to announce the launch of President David Wright’s podcast: Practicing the Art of Faithful Presence. Episodes released weekly tell the stories of people, share ideas, and inspire listeners to practice the art of good faith in the world.
“We often seem to be at a loss to imagine a society in which deeply held faith contributes to the good will, and well-being of people and of society as a whole,” says Wright. “We don’t immediately associate breakthroughs in scientific discovery, brilliant creative achievements, technical and economic growth, and ground-breaking social action with rich and vibrant faith.”
Practicing the Art of Faithful Presence explores how the Christian faith impacts and interacts with those in the world today. Episodes feature highly-accomplished guests such as SkyTrak Meteorologist Chuck Lofton and Ballet 5:8 Artistic Director Julianna Rubio Slager.
"Dr. Wright’s podcast is exactly what our world needs today,” says Lofton. “I enjoyed his thoughtful questions and our conversation brought out in me, an even deeper longing to practice His presence even more in my life. The culture we live in desperately needs to see faith, hope and love in Christians to draw them to Jesus. I’m excited to hear how others practically live for Christ, abundantly, in this troubled world.”
The Practicing the Art of Faithful Presence podcast is available for streaming on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Stitcher.
