The DeVoe Division of Business at Indiana Wesleyan University is pleased to announce it has received accreditation with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), a global business education accrediting body.
To gain accreditation, the DeVoe Division of Business underwent a detailed review and assessment of its current programs and data collection over the past three years. ACBSP evaluates programs based on seven standards: leadership, strategic planning, student and stakeholder focus, student learning assessment, faculty focus, curriculum and business unit performance.
After completing the detailed review, the DeVoe Division of Business was able to secure the distinction. Accredited programs include the following:
- BA in Accounting
- BA in Business Administration
- BA in Entrepreneurship
- BA in Finance
- BA in Management
- BA in Marketing
“This accreditation focuses on teaching excellence and student learning outcomes,” said Dr. Lisa Nieman, chair, DeVoe Division of Business. “It ensures that we are committed to continuous improvement and providing students with skills that employers seek.”
The DeVoe Division of Business, initially known as the Division of Business, was founded in 1966. For more information on its programs, visit https://www.indwes.edu/undergraduate/division-of-business/.
