Indiana Wesleyan University National & Global has announced a partnership with Kingswood University, a private university located in Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada, to offer online business courses to Kingswood University students at a reduced tuition rate.
Kingswood students will take business courses at IWU National & Global toward the completion of a "business as mission" degree at Kingswood University. As part of the partnership, IWU National & Global has agreed to offer Kingswood University students discounted tuition of $260 per credit hour. Students enrolled in IWU’s business courses may receive academic advising from IWU National & Global’s advising team and will also have access to the university’s off-campus library services.
The partnership is an extension of IWU's bridge initiative, designed to resource other Christian higher education institutions and provide pathways for learners. The contract agreement represents an initiation to this partnership.
Kingswood University, formerly known as Bethany Bible College, was founded in 1945 to train ministers to serve the Reformed Baptist Church, which eventually became part of the Wesleyan Church. The university exists to prepare men and women for vocational Christian ministry. Its graduates serve across North America and in 28 countries around the world.
“IWU and Kingswood University share a special relationship as siblings in the higher education outreach of The Wesleyan Church. We both exist to cultivate Christ-like servant leaders who work toward positive change in the world,” said Stephen Lennox, Ph.D., President of Kingswood University. “We would love to see a thriving business as ministry program develop at Kingswood University built on the strengths of IWU's business program. Our hope is to develop new programs preparing Kingdom multipliers for the marketplace.”
