Indiana Wesleyan University is hosting its second annual Treat Night from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30 where children, who are 12 and under, with an accompanying adult can trick or treat at various residence halls on the IWU residential campus.
The halls that will be participating are East Lodge, South Hall, Beckett Hall, Martin Hall, Reed Hall, Carmin Hall, Evans Hall, Hodson Hall, Scripture Hall and Kem Hall. Each lobby will be decorated in a different theme and IWU students will be handing out treats. The event is free of charge and open to those in the IWU and Marion communities.
“Events that engage the community and are student-led instill a sense of purpose, belonging and ownership in the student,” said Crystal Kitten, director of housing at IWU. “During Treat Night last year, I witnessed countless student faces light up when they saw the children dressed in costumes and interacted with the families. We can’t wait to do it again next week.”
