IWU’s online Clinical Addictions Counseling program adheres to current evidence-based practice, integrating a Christian worldview with a behavioral and social sciences orientation. Through a mixture of courses and practicums, the 48-hour program prepares counselors to work with chemical addictions and addictive behaviors, such as eating, sexual and gambling disorders. Graduates are academically qualified to pursue state licensure and/or national certification.
In addition to Clinical Addictions Counseling, IWU’s Division of Graduate Counseling offers a Master of Arts degree with the following majors:
