Indiana Wesleyan University expects to welcome 850 grandparents to campus as part of its 22nd annual Grandparents Day on Friday, Oct. 13.
Grandparents Day is an event that happens yearly on campus in order to pay tribute to the special relationships that exist between grandchildren and grandparents. It is also a day for grandparents to see firsthand what college is like for their grandchild.
Grandparents will enjoy a continental breakfast, learn more about IWU during a morning welcome session, attend chapel with their grandchild and enjoy a special musical performance by IWU students.
Other activities that grandparents can experience in their free time include:
- Family Photos
- Lunch
- Guided Bus Tour of Campus
- Residence Hall Visits
- McConn Coffee Company
- IWU Bookstore
